Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York - then came full circle and moved back to Rhode Island. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene. She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm, riding her horses, or connecting with her readers online.

    Omg I loved this book, Julia is a great character, sweet, loving, hard working and overall an amazing person, she meets Gio at work when she mistakes him for a thief. Gio is a businessman, hard working and never lets emotions get in his way but when he sees Julia he starts to feel something new to him. Julia opens up a world that he didn't even know existed and makes him question his life. I love Gio and Julia as a couple. This story is great, it's got a great plot, amazing characters, lots of difficult decisions, lots of Angst, lots of amazing sex, some really sweet moments and of course it's about a family which leads to more stories, gotta love it. Ruth Cardello is becoming one of my favourite authors for sweet romances so would highly recommend.

    After reading this I have gone back to read the rest of the Corisi books, you could read it as a stand alone, but to fully understand what happens I would recommend you read the Corisi books first, however, I loved this story, Julia is a lovely character, trying to make a better life for herself and help her dad, who cares for his wife. Gio is the typical dominant bloke who likes to get his own way, the story is interesting and keeps you interested all through, there is some humour in there which makes it a lovely read, can't wait for the next one!!!!

To. leave his superficial life behind and allow people into his heart and life.     I've just finished Ruth Cardello's Legacy series and I am really going to miss the characters, but guess what, they appear occasionally in this series. At the end of the Legacy series, the women challenge each other as to who can be the best matchmaker. There are 4 estranged cousins of Stephan's, some sort of family dispute has torn the family apart and the women think helping the men find the loves of their lives may help mend the rift. This is some background for you but you don't need to have read the books to understand this series.
    Confirmed bachelor cousin number one, Gio, a very successful businessman who sticks to simple, no strings attached one night stands. While in the office one night, part time security guard Julia mistakes him for an intruder, from then on, he can't get her out of his mind.
    There plot running through the book is based on their backgrounds, Julia's family struggling with illness and money and Gio's family feuding and bitter about the past. I hate the Gio's mother already and we only meet her once, I'm sure she'll feature in future books and I hope she gets what's coming to her. We know a bit about each cousin now too so I can't wait to see in future books the women that tame them.
    One of the hottest scenes I've read recently is Gio and Julia having phone sex, they sizzle when together.

    Going to be really honest didn't have high hopes for this book it looked really cheesy a typical mills and boon book. However I was so wrong I loved the story and the characters. Gio and Julia are really strong people loved the chemistry between them. I thought it was well written with good plots and it actually had some humour.     I really enjoyed the book and the storyline. It's not only about love but about family, disappointments and a hidden truth.

    Here the girl (Julia) is a down-to-earth and honest woman who wants to success by selling her own jewellery and isn't lured by money. Basically, she doesn't care about how rich is the guy. And Gio is a millionaire and hot businessman who doesn't know how to handle his feelings for Julia. We find him struggling with a new situation for him since all what he was used to do to sleep with a woman doesn't work now.

    Definitely I'm looking forward to read more about the Andrades family.

    I have read all of Ruth Cardello's books. With each book I have read I fall more and more in love with the story. I loved her Legacy Series. And now I love The Andrades Series. You will recognize the name Andrades from the Legacy Series. Trust me when I say this series is just as hot as her Legacy Series.

    Gio oh what a man he is. Sexy, Strong, and knows what he wants. I love how he is around Julia. Of course I love what happens when he is with his brothers.

    Julia man she is one strong woman. I love how she never gives up on selling her jewelery. I love how she doesn't back down from Gio. These two people were a match made in heaven. Oh and before I forget as if Ruth would let us forget that some of her Legacy Series Characters are in this book as well.

This is definitely well worth the read. I can't wait to start the 2nd book in this series!
