EPIC!!!!
I had very high expectations for this book and OMG it didn't disappoint! The perfect continuation to Xavier's story.
This book is even darker than the last. Xavier and Mercy have completed Mercy's revenge and are now free...Or aren't they?
Xavier is tortured by his memories, the foggy memories of his imprisonment in the hands of the Watchman, the man who shaped the killer that he is now.
As he beggins to unravel, Mercy will be there but will her love be enough to bring him back from the darkness? As he keeps distancing himself from her, outside forces threaten to tear them apart and Xavier's real identity comes to the light.

As Mercy is torn apart from the only man she has ever loved, her life becomes a battlefield. She needs to survive and she needs to believe in Xavier.
Xavier will come face to face with his past, the past he has been conditioned to forget as a Royal Blood assassin.

The book is a tale of revenge, passion, darkness and ultimately, love. Xavier will fight his demons and Mercy will have to become the monster Xavier has shaped her into in order to live.
The book incorporated various characters, including Vaughn and Lorelei from Blood Rites. Their presence in the book made it richer and I thoroughly enjoyed the developments.
We finally learn who Xavier is and I have to admit that I was shocked because I so did not see that coming. Mercy is one of the bravest heroines I've ever read and I loved her determination to bring Xavier back from the darkness.
Their chemistry was off the charts in this book. I loved them.
If you have enjoyed the previous books in the series, then you don't want to miss this one.
Amazing! The best book in the series for me.

This is book three in the Royal Blood series. It picks up where book two ends so make sure you read the two previous books before you read this one.

This is probably my favourite of the series. Questions roaming around in my head are answered. Twists and turns had my head in a spin. These characters seemed to get darker and suck me in even more.

I seriously could not read this book fast enough. I absolutely loved it. Brilliant dark, twisted and suspenseful story.

Devil’s Blood (Royal Blood #3) --- 5 stars and more.
Amity Cross -- Release Date July 23rd

I have been waiting for this one. And Amity Cross of course did not disappoint. This is a jaw dropping 5 star read.

When I stumbled across Amity and her series Royal Blood never in my life did I imagine that I would get such pleasure out of watching such a torturous and heart bending story unfold. Xavier Blood will cut you open and grab your heart raising it up in victory.

Devil’s Blood picks right up where we left Mercy and X. Mercy is struggling with where she and X go now. What road do they travel? She though revenge would make the torment inside her subside but all its done it open up new demons. Demons that X has forbid her to search for claiming he wants no part in finding out who he is or if he even had any kind of life prior to being held by the The Watchman. Mercy is his anchor. When the nightmares come he uses Mercy to ground him. Mercy isn’t satisfied. She knows the plague that lies ahead. She knows eventually the monsters living in X will consume him. The only person that holds the answers to X’s past are the two most disturbing creatures; The Watchman and Greggor. Mercy wants to dance with the devils. X is withdrawing from her after his worst nightmare yet. The only way to save “them” is to walk through the darkness together hoping they both come out alive.

Devil’s Blood is a complete mind frick and there is no doubt in my mind Amity was snickering at her fans and the torture she was able to unleash on us. You will not believe that The Watchman …… or the identity of Greggor is ……. And is that ……. ? Sorry I don’t do spoilers! This series is oh so good and I have a feeling … it isn’t over which leaves me screaming YES in the most twisted way imaginable! Don’t bother coming and saving my soul. I love every single second of this morsel.

IN-FUCKING-CREDIBLE!!!

This series- OH. MY. GOD. What a finale! I read this whole series in two days and was crestfallen when I realized I had reached the end. Each book kept me on the edge of my seat in anticipation of what was going to happen next, which I could never suspect because there were so many twists and 'OMG moments'.

After the end of Bad Blood (Royal Blood #2) I mistakenly thought that X and Mercy could pause and take a breather for at least a short amount of time, but how wrong I turned out to be! Mercy may have had her revenge but that was a trifling matter compared to all of the MINDFUCKERY that kept getting thrown our way, for the characters AND the readers!

My emotions were all over the place. I spent most of the beginning being angry and frustrated with Mercy. Actually....I seem to have spent a substantial amount of the time I spent in this series upset with her. I'm not sure why...except that maybe it was because I felt a fierce need to protect X, even from her. She made stupid decisions that put them both at risk and she didn't trust him as much as she should have. You have no idea how hard it is to write this without giving anything away! I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but there are so many things I wish I could say right now!

Just be prepared to NOT be prepared for the things you learn! The circumstances surrounding X and his life before becoming the "pet assassin" for Royal Blood are revealed and they're shocking, as well as heart-breaking. Mercy chose a course of action that belied her lack of faith in X and was responsible for each and every following effect afterwards. Like a huge line of dominoes falling over with nothing anyone could do to stop its natural course.

My personal most favorite part of this book was the growth of X and Mercy's relationship. Even when they weren't physically together they spent a lot of time looking at their hearts and realizing exactly how much the other meant to them. When X came to understand that it was truly LOVE that he felt so deeply for her it was beautiful. Even though he had spent all the time he could remember NOT feeling any sort of attachment or intimacy with anyone, once he decided to love he did it with all of himself.

X and Mercy get their personalized version of a "happily ever after", but I still would like to see more about what develops in their future. Maybe a new series? Or a novella just for us diehard fans? I'll be happy with anything as long as I can get more X and Mercy.

"Love in a fucking shit storm of chaos."

All the hours spent slowly and lovingly building a Lego house for just one brick to come loose and the whole house starts to crumble...X was broken down and rebuilt one brick at a time, cemented in his own blood and pain. But the foundations were weakened when he was sent after Mercy and the cracks are starting to spread...

This is the story of a man who is slowly becoming unravelled as he refuses to acknowledge the pain of the past although the past events haunt his nightmares. He has been conditioned to be a monster, the perfect weapon and the memories are starting to trickle through, bleeding into reality. Mercy wants him to embrace his past, accept who is his and rediscover the man hidden beneath the beast. Together they are strong, together they have blazed a path of revenge leaving a trail of blood in their wake but X keeps pushing her away, can Mercy show him her monster is equal to his?

Who was X before...The Watchman and Greggor hold the key to unlocking the secrets of the past. Devil's Blood is dark and it travels a road best left for hardened souls. The lengths some will go to just to show they are in control are unfathomable to the sane but X is anything but.

"Kneeling, he deposited the head of my enemy at my feet, his gaze cast down. This was a declaration of love from the monster, not the man...X had given himself over to the monster he'd been fighting inside of himself to save me."

The is a truly awesome bloody read. X goes all out to save the other half of his blackened soul, from the monsters that created him and the devil himself - the man that loves her and would light the world on fire for her, X. A story of love in the darkness. This is a gripping edge of your seat white knuckle ride that I could not put down. Amity has done it again, she has a wicked mind and I love it!

A five star I want my enemies slain at my feet read!

A lot or nothing at all...
Thanks to Amity Cross I've gained a few more gray hairs reading this series. It was definitely a #MindFu@ck read. I decided to read the series simply because I read Royal Blood MC in the synopsis and I'm addicted to MC Romance. However; as I soon learned there is very little MC lifestyle in the pages of this action packed mind-bending eye-brow raiser. I had no idea what I was getting into, but once I got there, I had no desire to get out. I think X describes it perfectly by saying, "Love in a fucking shitstorm of chaos." Neither X nor Mercy chose to become 'monsters', it was forced on them. They are survivors and so far they've managed to withstand, endure, and escape all the hurdles so far. But the longer X is separated from the 'conditioning' the more memories he has to battle in his dreams. While Mercy is pushing him to find out about his past he is stubbornly refusing, saying that he doesn't want to know. As you can imagine, her pushing is not going over so well. She is still a 'monster in training' as he continues to teach her more survival skills. Surprisingly, "revenge suited her" and she was a good student. She might have learned even faster if they didn't have so many lust-in-the-dust, bend-over-the-boulder, and you-have-too-many-clothes-on breaks. Seriously, all I can say is, where the hell do I sign up for some of those classes? And then, they moved from the fucking stage into the shitstorm of chaos stage. Everything escalates, all hell breaks loose, all those hints and clues and suspicions that you had while reading so far...BAM! It's so good you're gonna wanna go back and read it again. Especially the class breaks (wink-wink).

The monster or the man?

A man of their creation or his own?

Stay in the present where he's static or fight to get answers about his past that could very well make him lose all control?

Xavier Blood - an assassin programmed to kill without emotions

But who was he before?

Well, readers will get their answers in Devil's Blood, and the journey to those conclusions will come at a price, not only for X but for Mercy Reid as well. Blood will be spilled and secrets revealed and their lives will sure as hell not remain static after this.

I absolutely loved this story; the transformations of both X and Mercy in the series, all leads up to what goes down in Devil's Blood, and it is one fantastically dark and gritty ride.

I don’t blame X for deciding to let his past go and focus on the present and learning to be the new Xavier - the man who loves Mercy and just wants to be with her. Is it naive to think that he wouldn’t be forced to face things? Yea probably, but learning about the past doesn’t change what happened; in fact, it only complicates the pain, frustration, and confusion X already feels. But with the monster still festering under the surface and Royal Blood out to silence him, Xavier can’t hide forever because there’s too many variables at play and one is the woman who means everything to him.

Does Mercy’s persistence to learn the truth about Xavier’s past and the actions she takes to make that happen cause unnecessary complications and piss X off? Absolutely. But Xavier can’t be completely reborn without acquiring the full picture; he can’t move forward when people are still out for his blood.

Mercy kicks ass in Devil’s Blood; she fights for her man and for herself, and even though some of her decisions led to bigger worries, every single one that she made was to give Xavier back himself because she might not be able to completely fix him but she can damn sure give him a bit of peace.

Xavier Blood was an assassin, a hitman, a ghost, and unfortunately a monster, but he’s also a man who was conditioned by a group of assholes who wanted to make him their puppet.

The new Xavier blood is still a killer and a ghost, but he’s also a man who has withstood a shitstorm of pain, torture, and darkness and created a life on his terms.

“He smiled and leaned in for a kiss. His lips were soft against mine, in a rare show of tenderness, the tip of his tongue caressing my skin before claiming me in a slow, passionate dance. F@ck that man could kiss.”

5 stars all the way!! Amity Cross did not disappoint with this third book in the series!! You feel for X and what he’s going through and you struggle with Mercy to find out why X is the way he is.

We would embrace the darkness together…
Or not at all.

Xavier Blood is a man adrift. And a dangerous man without purpose is a lethal cocktail for disaster.
Mercy Reid has her revenge, but it’s not what her heart desires most.

After everything he’s been through, X doesn’t want to know where he came from, let alone who he was. Mercy has become his life, his anchor, his everything, so why should it matter?

The Watchman has the answers, but are they the ones she wants to hear

The third book in the series picks up where book two left off. Mercy and X are still in the cabin and he’s still quiet and unsure of who he is. Although he is now sleeping with Mercy and his nightmare’s seem to subside. And while Mercy is happy with what they have she struggles with the fact that she knows he’s suffering on the inside but won’t tell her. X is still hell bent on seeking revenge on Royal Blood, so he’s making plans and putting them in motion, when he gets a call from Vaughn, telling him he has a surprise for him. I don’t want to go into more detail and ruin it for others, but I will say that it gets intense after that and Mercy is forced to make decisions that may jeopardize her and X, and everything they’ve had. And X is forced to figure out who he really is. This series is and was amazing!!! I’m now a huge fan of Amity!!!

I've been desperate for book 3 to be come out as I love this series. I have to say Deviks Blood did not disappoint one bit.
The story continues straight on from book 2.
X and Mercy are characters that are so complicated and so messed up.
The big question though is who is X? He doesn't really know and that has messed with his head and heart. He's left with so many questions that only one person can answer, but that person us the last person Mercy wants to meet.
X isn't the same character that we knew at the start of the series. He's now broken and lost. He's very vulnerable to try and move in with his life and get past the pain hes in, he needs to face things and people head on to get his life sorted and the answers and revenge he badly wants.
Mercy is hurting and daly as she knows X is lost and broken. She doesn't no how to save him and bring him back to who he was before. She's really struggling, but is keeping it all locked up inside her. I really wanted her to tell X how worried she was for him, but could understand why she didn't.
I loved how the book has gone throughout the series and the oath the author took us down. The story isn't play out at all like I thought it would after reading book 1.
I loved his intense it was and the unpredictability of the story. It was always changing direction and it certainly kept me on the edge if my seat when reading it.
The story was defiantly dramatic and raw. The author knows how to make the best out if the characters and take the reader in a huge unforgettable journey.
I love X and Mercy and I really wanted them to get the closure X needed so they could finally move in with their lives together and be happy. Getting closure though is never easy and if you do get it dies it help anyway?
Great series.

The end of the series.

Although I think it is a good serie which I enjoyed there some thinks I like less.To much HEA.
It took Mercy months and very epic happings to get to X.
But it took Vaughn seconds to get through Lorelei and even the second

time she instantly choose him above and other important person.

The first time ok, but the second time should have gone wrong and ended badly.

How it was written now, I don't buy that. And worse it make Mercy accomplicement to stabilize X and love for X weaker.

I also think Mercy and X should have died on the table after the famous words. M just came to late back.
We hear M memory of X and his past life and deeds and the cruel world lives trough. Just like in real life.

Mercy was tortured and burned. With those kind of wounds she should brought to a (illegal) hospital. You don't recover on the couch with those kinds of wounds. And houses don't have stacks of hospital gear in them. So for me it felt very unbelievable. Better would have been that they got an adres of M to an illegal hospital.

Further more book 2 felt to slow for me and book 3 to rushed.

----------

I would see X and Mercy and M back in a furter serie being their new profession. But please, you are writing for a kind of audience that have quite some life experiences. Don't start a dark serie and then suddenly half past a serie, write for the housewifes who wants a unbelieveble HEA.

Mercy Reid has her revenge but she wont settle until Xavier Blood or X as he's known has his. X doesn't remember much of his life apart from the last few years he was conditioned by The Watchman to carry out the dirty work for Royal Blood.

X and Mercy are hauled back up at his cabin and he's continuing Mercy's training, on the outside he seems himself but deep down he knows that he's coming apart and fighting the inevitable of having to find out who he was before. X receives a call from Vaughan telling him that he has a gift for him, feeling uncertain he goes to see Vaughan and comes face to face with a part of his past but he also gets more from his visit and has to compartmentalize his feelings once again to survive.

Mercy is struggling with X wanting to ignore his past and move on as they are, she finds herself having to make a decision that may well be the end of them but she feels X needs answers to move on.

I don't want to give too much away so please go get your copy you wont be disappointed Amity Cross has created a beautiful series that takes you on a journey and keeps you wanting to turn the page.

In this third book of the Royal Blood series, X and Mercy are back in the UK from France. Things have gone well. Vaughn calls with a present for X. X goes to meet him, once again starting to shut Mercy out. You know how well Mercy takes X shutting her out of things. She is contacted by Mei, to give a message to X. You will have to read to find out who Mei is. X flashes back to his first kill for the Royal Blood, at the end of his conditioning. I wonder if your thoughts are the same as mine on who the first kill(s) he ever made were. Mercy, kidnapped. Who has her? What will they do to her or with her? You really must read and find out her fate as well as X's fate. Does Mercy finally get the answers she has been wanting about X's life and his past? Does she get the closure she wants? If so, what happens next? Read the very dramatic and thrilling book of the Royal Blood series that tops all the others!!!

Wow! Twists and turns I did not see with this one. X, Mercy and Vaughn are on their quest to bring down Sykes and Greggor.

Mercy has taken to her training from X and doesn't know if she will ever find herself after this. X is on his own journey of knowing the monster inside, the person he used to be and the guilt of training Mercy to be like himself, a monster. Vaughn's past isn't as it seems and now he will need to fight to keep his past and future together.

These three characters find out about their pasts, their present and where their future is headed.

This book brought everything to the forefront and gave all the answers you could possibly think and more. Heartbreaking, hopeful and suspenseful.

This series needs reading in order but it is so worth it. This series is gritty, intense and full of so much action. Not only that we have a fiery couple who have dealt with so much individually and together and they have a hot relationship together when it is not being tested. This couple go on a serious journey together and individually in this book, also a lot of new information about them is revealed which i really enjoyed finding out about.

I spent last week dialed into the violent and gritty world of Amity Cross's Royal Blood series. It's a dark environment filled with seriously nefarious characters. A place where no one seems safe and where situations are so bad, people are risking everything to be free of it. However, I loved being there. I was completely immersed in Mercy and Xavier's romance because their love and relationship was this strangely beautiful light the shined through the chaos of it all.

The latest installment in this series, Devil's Blood, didn't feel like it was about revenge as much as the previous books. It was more about this duo finding their new normal. Xavier and Mercy are unsettled - where do they go now? They struggled quite a bit emotionally and to move forward but they had some major roadblocks in their way. It almost made me feel like their love wasn't going to be enough and it only made me root for them more.

And then the Amity drop kicked the plot into high gear and everything goes to absolute hell for the couple. It was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat worried for them and where I was once only curious about their future, I now was terrified that they might never get their happily ever after.

I shouldn't have worried. The way the author concluded their story was incredible - it unfolds in a manor that leaves you feeling addicted. I devoured page after page and I loved every single moment in this book.

I thought Devil's Blood is intense and emotionally charged. The sexual connection between Xavier and Mercy alone will leave you panting and wanting more. Add to that the drama and suspense surrounding Xavier's past and you're unable to put Devil's Blood down. It is an awesome book and I highly recommend it.

Who is Xavier Blood? That is the question. This book centres around Mercy trying to help the man she loves be finally at peace with himself and X battling with discovering who he was before he was conditioned by The Watchman.

In this third installment, so many questions are answered and Vaughn's novella also links perfectly.

What has confused me throughout this series, is whether these books come under the MC or the Dark genre. Personally I don't think it matters, but readers specifically wanting to read something about club life may find this book doesn't meet that criteria as there isn't much focus on the fact that Royal Blood is an MC.

Do we even have motorcycle clubs of this kind in the UK? Stereotypically, I really did think they were more of the ale drinking social clubs for bearded men, or a way of classic motorcycle owners to meet every once in a while to show off their highly polished machine. Either way, I have been totally immersed in this dark sinister world.

What it is, is a brutal, dark and intense journey of two people, who's lives have been thrown together in a web of violence and I for one loved it. Some of the scenes are particularly graphic, but completely essential.

Going back to this particularly story, it was probably my favourite of the entire series. There are definitely some shocks and surprises. I'm not sure if this is the last book in the Royal Blood saga, but I really hope there is more to come. A spin off series perhaps or even a novella, because I can really see there is more to the story.

You would think that after everything that happened in Paris that life would calm down for X and Mercy. No such luck. When faced with the choice of running away together and finding out about X's past life, they of course decide to investigate. With the help of a tied up man from his past, they have clues on how to find The Watchman. Unfortunately Mercy is taken and handed over to the man. Bad scary man who derives way to much pleasure by bringing out the monster in a person using any means. My heart broke for Mercy as she suffered at his hand. In the meantime X is losing his mind trying to find her enlisting Vaughn in making a rescue plan. He finds out about his past and it was like a punch in the guy with all he was put through. Things so wonky when they make the attempt and Vaughn gets the shocker of his life. I mean just punch the guy in the gut shocker. Loved it. I also love X and Mercy together. As twisted as they are after all they have been through, they just make complete sense together. Besides the fact that there is some off the charts chemistry between them and there is some serious steamy moments shared. Holy hotness! Mercy totally kicks ass in this part of their story. So very strong, yet still vulnerable. And I just heart X BIG. I loved how the author ended this part of their story and I would love to read more about what happens next.

I give Devil's Blood 5 hearts!

The Royal Blood series has been a dark and sometimes difficult read. Full of suspense, intrigue and a gripping storyline, the third book Devil’s Blood is no less captivating than the other books.

With Skyes gone, X and Mercy thought their difficult times may be past but with Royal Blood still on their tail that isn’t an option. X’s conditioning is slowly fading away and his memories are gradually coming back to him. As much as Mercy insists, X doesn’t want to know who he once was – what good would come of it? But his past doesn’t want him to forget and when it catches up to him X must embrace who he once was.

With Royal Blood out for blood they will do anything to keep X in line – even by going after his woman. Mercy is hell bent on getting the answers whether X wants them or not, no matter the cost to herself. When things don’t go as planned, Xavier has no choice but to find out the answer to the question he’s done everything to avoid – who is Xavier Blood?

Devil’s Blood is no less graphic or dark than the rest of the series but what a read! Gripping from start to finish, you never know what’s going to happen next. And of course it’s just as hot and steamy as the other books. All in all a great read – just don’t start this one if you’re in the mood for fairytales and sappy love stories because when the blood starts flying everywhere you’ll be sorely disappointed!

Holy cow, Amity has done it again. This book was filled with so many twists, turns and revelations that it will blow your mind!

This books picks up where the last left off. They are now at their cottage and processing all the things that happened in the second book when out of the blue Vaughn calls with a gift for X. He decides not to include Mercy in it and she is not happy about that. His nightmares aren't getting better because he isn't coping with the things that have happened to him and Mercy doesn't know what to do to help him. While on a walk she is approached by a lady named Mei who says she can help. Mercy thinks it over and after X experiences a bad nightmare that is making him act like he did before she decides to call her up. While at the phone she is kidnapped and tortured by the person who made X who he is today. I don't want to tell you too much but as you can guess X is going to do whatever it takes to try and get her back but will he make it in time? Who else will be dragged into the hell that is going on and will they survive? Who is Greggor? What was X's past like?

I really don't want to say more and there is a part that I'm not going to mention because I was glad I didn't hear anything about. It really blew my mind when I read it and brought light to a book that has a lot of darkness in it. Don't miss out on this series!!

Mercy thinks X is delaying the inevitable and pushes him to understand the thing he struggles with the most—his identity—but it might be one push too far in the wrong direction.

Who is Xavier Blood? Only one man has the answer and it’s the man Mercy wants to meet the least. The more X withdraws into his broken mind, the more desperate she becomes to save him, even if it means coming face to face with the man who tortured and conditioned her love to be a cold hearted killer.

The Watchman has the answers, but are they the ones she wants to hear?

Review from Abibliophobia Anonymous Book Reviews

This is the third book in the Royal Blood series. They do need to be read in order. I have been hooked on this series since the first book. I love Mercy and X, even if both are messed up.

This book starts with them back at the cabin after Mercy killed Sykes. X has been worried about how she would cope with what she did.

Mercy has gotten her revenge and now she is pushing X to get his revenge on Royal Blood and find out about his past, before the Watchman changed him. He’s actually happy though. Yea, X happy, never thought that would happen.

“Everything I do, I do for you. For your safety. For your protection.”

This book has a lot of turns, and we do find out about X’s previous life, and boy I wasn’t expecting that. I won’t say much more because I really don’t want to give anything away, at all!

I do want more from these two, especially after that ending. I also want more of Vaughn now too!!

REVIEWED FOR SERAPHIM BOOK REVIEWS

In Devil's Blood, we're back with Xavier and Mercy where they are truly finding the price of their revenge. What happens when you get what? What's left?

Xavier and Mercy are in love but they are being torn apart, but themselves and in order to fix themselves they need the full truth. Xavier learns who he really is, and who is, is a bit of a shocker! Like seriously, I was not expecting that!

This one is depraved it the best possible ways. In order to be free Xavier must first truly be the monster. It's hit & miss whether he can come back from the monster though after everything, can he really just be the man.

Questions are answered, pasts revisited and secrets revealed and oh yeah, it's still sexy!

The epic mind blowing journey of X and Mercy continues!! Ms. Cross wrote another fast paced, heart pounding addition to such a badass story.

This couple is so tough and so hot together. The writing sucks me in and doesn't let go. In this story we learn more about X's past and it broke my heart!!! I have described other characters in other books as "broken”, but compared to X, those characters don't even know what broken is! Sadly, he is on a whole different level. He was broken. Forced to change into a new man. Trained to be a killer. And his newly revealed first kills in Devil's Blood had my jaw on the floor.

Hardcore action, mystery, suspense and plenty of perfect sex scenes, this gripping series has it all and is amazing. Get ready for a "Blood"-y good time. I watch the clock until ANY of Amity's books release. Can't wait for more! ~ Krissy, 5 stars

I simply don't know how she does it but yet again Amity Cross impress me with her amazing talent of building a incredibly believable story though it's context is so action filled you are sure it could never possibly be real.
She has a knack of building up characters with a great deal of depth, who are extremely strong willed and this book was no different. I will almost go as far as to say this was the best book in the trilogy and as the other two it's one you can't resist being pulled into.
I for one can't help loving her world of blood, gore and love and I will forever be in love with and most of all remember Xavier Blood and Mercy Reid <3

5 stars really isn't enough for this book !!!
I can't believe my head's still on my shoulders as this book gave me whiplash so many times !! I'd think i knew what was coming next and then have a total "OMFG WTF" moment !! There were also a lot "WTF SERIOUSLY" moments too, as X and Mercy finally find out who the REAL Xavier Blood is, and Mercy sees EXACTLY what he's capable of !!!
Amity Cross you totally rock and this is DEFINITELY one of my favourite reads of yours !!! I'll definitely be getting these in paperback !!

I am actually struggling for words to do this book the justice it deserves!! I have read all of Amity's books and they're all fantastic, they just keep getting better but this one had me on the edge for 3 hours from start to finish! I actually felt sick with nerves a few times not knowing what was going to happen next. I absolutely love to read a book that makes me feel a number of emotions and I definitely felt those reading this amazing continuation of this series.
If you like a book that's a little on the darker side then this series is most definitely for you. You do need to read the previous books as this is one series you do not want to miss! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars

Well that was a stunning conclusion to an incredible series. I did see some of it coming but was still intrigued to find out how it would be pulled together.

Mercy and Xavier are in love but won't admit it to each other. Typical right. Anyway, they go through hell and back to get to where a future may be possible. With all the twists and turns it could go either way, and with the "The Watchman" involved, there's no telling who will survive.

I highly recommend this thriller conclusion to an fabulous series. Do yourself a favour and read them in order. They could be read separately but makes more sense in sequence.
