5 Stars!

I seriously adore Ella Fox. Not only is she a kick ass author but she has a beautiful soul that bleeds into her books. I'm a huge huge fan of her seriously addicting rockers but holy smokes I wasn't prepared for these brothers or the feelings they evoked in me.

I Want is the second standalone novel in the sexy Enamorado series and what a fun ride this was. Unexpected. Intense. Fun. Laugh out loud. Passionate. This book hit all my markers for the perfect romance. The emotions and heart in this book packed a serious punch yet I found myself laughing and swooning, a lot.

When she says yes to house sitting for her bestie, she never imagined she would meet HIM or the way he made her feel. He's had very bad luck at dating so he never expected to find his forever crawling over his gate to get a quirky peacock but there she is and he's never letting her go.

He's gonna make you fall hard and fast. She's gonna have you cheering on the sidelines. Amazing chemistry. Undeniable sparks. Two hearts. One amazing family. Epic friends. One life-changing romance.

This is Kaya and Alejandro's story.

I can't freaking wait till the next y'all because it was set up sooooooo perfectly and that ending? Unforgettable.

I highly recommend this book.

descriptionPerfect cover on this one. Great representation of the hero and story. Fabulous composition and title work as well.description

descriptionOMG, this book was totes adorbs! After reading a couple emotionally draining books this week, I needed something light and low angst, and this one hit that mark in a major way. It was insta and sweet. It made me laugh (the garbage and the peacock incident...OMG I had tears I was laughing so hard!). A smidge of OW drama. No OM drama. A couple of hot sex scenes. Usually, I am not a fan of slow buildups, and the sex doesn't arrive until 80%, but these two were just so cute together that I found myself enjoying the ride and not frustrated as I would usually be.

description

This one was pretty low of secondary characters, but it was nice to catch up with Rafe and see how he was doing. I suspect his heroine will be Kaya's BFF. Time will tell. Both main characters were extremely likable. Alejandro was pretty much perfect. Not a manwhore (celibate two years). He was all in from the moment he meets Kaya. Kaya was equally as endearing. I was worried at the beginning that she would push Alejandro away a lot, but that wasn't the case at all.

My only complaint, and why this loses a star was the ending was really abrupt. I would have liked seeing a couple more chapters that included the meeting of his/her parents and family. I was left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the way the author ended the book. That issue aside this hit the spot for me, and so yours truly is giving it two HUGE thumbs up. Bring on the next book...description

SIDE NOTE: So apparently my ARC was missing the epilogue. It is just a few paragraphs (that are cute) but my original issues remain so my rating will stay the same, but I did want to include this little heads up for potential readers.

I loved this one even more than the first. Alejandro is HOT, HOT, HOT. The Cruz men know when they meet the woman meant for them. Elvis was a hilarious addition to this story and the final chapter in his voice had me laughing. I’m so looking forward to Rafe’s story. He deserves his HEA.

I'm starting to get offended... it seems every author out there thinks every woman acts like a clueless dimwit who loses brain cells when meeting someone hot either that or we become nuns or reborns virgins while the hero sleeps with everything and everyone.

I'm so done with these stupid tropes..

Also I got soooo pissed when he threw perfectly good food in the garbage.. If you read the book you'll know what I f*cking mean. 😡

QUE CALOR!!! Really, HOT DAMN!!! I feel like I should build a shrine for these Cruz brothers, because they are whole new league of their own in matters of Best Book Boyfriend.

Trust me, if you haven’t yet read the first installment, I Don’t, you need to. STAT! I though Mateo was as good as it could get, with all my ideals for main male character more than filled out. Well, seems I shouldn’t have supposed because Alejandro is just as dreamy and delicious!

It didn’t matter because just like Mateo had said about the night he saw Avelina in the sunroom, I knew what Kaya was to me.

Yep, you got it right, Alejandro will conquer all your hearts and make you swoon, hard!

Alejandro and Kaya meet when she falls on his arms, literally, in her mission to recover her borrowed pet peacock, Elvis. Let’s just say it’s the most of unconventional first meets, but boy did it pack a punch. For both of them!

As much as I wanted to pretend I wasn’t, the truth was that I was beyond attracted to Alejandro Cruz.
Here it start the major swooning moments, given it only took that chance, brief encounter for Alejandro to know that Kaya is everything he’s been looking for – very unsuccessfully we might say,lol – and to know he’ll do anything to prove and show her she’s his one.

“Be careful, man. Your past—”
“Is just that,” I interrupted. “It’s in the past. I never knew what I was looking for until I met her.”

Once again I was enchanted with how Ella developed this story, considering even though we have this instant-love/lust, their relationship has a wonderful slow built, starting with a good friendship, when both their bodies craved so much more, but Alejandro showed once again how incredible he was, because that is just what Kaya needed, patience, love and care. The insane attraction was always present, he just had to show her all they could be.

Our chemistry was electric, so much so that you could almost see it arcing between. I’d do whatever needed to be done to get her on board with being mine. Already I knew I was hers.

I can’t enhance enough how much I love all these characters, both the main ones and all the secondary ones, even the grumpy Rafael. And Elvis! OMG, he was bloody brilliant, and kudos to Ella for thinking so outside the box with not only in regards of the type of pet (loved all the extra info about this beautiful species I knew very little about), but also for giving him a more important role than I could have dreamt of!

Alejandro was thankful to Elvis for all his help, and he was spot on! Without Elvis he never would have so easily conquered – or met – his soulmate!

I knew Kaya was different—had known it since the moment I met her. She wasn’t my past—she was my future.

From the first touch of his lips to mine I knew that Alejandro Cruz was in a class all of his own.

They really were PERFECT together! Completed each other in everything, and you could feel they were meant to be and I was rooting for them from the start, and so giddy with excitement right along with Kaya, because, hello? Hot swoon worthy, gorgeous latino! How could we resist?

“I wish there were a way to explain just how much I love your touch on my skin,” he said. “It is everything, Kaya. Everything.”

He was too much and not enough all at once, the most perfect symphony of feeling I’d ever experienced in my life.

Sigh… How good and delicious his this man?! And HOT! Sexy hot! Loyal, devoted, loving and caring, and all wrapped up in the perfect and irresistible package! Ella Foy hit all the right notes with I Want, exactly like she did with I Don’t, giving us this enticingly captivating, sweet and super sexy little read, that left me now craving, longing, even more for Rafael’s story, I need. Specially after that tidbit at the end! Now I’m the one that needs it, and NEED IT, NOW! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“Te amo.”
Her eyes widened and her lips opened in surprise. “Is that—did you just tell me that you love me?”
“Sí, mi amor. I love you, Kaya.”

“There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you, Kaya. The instant you fell into my arms I knew you were my soulmate. Everything I’ve done since then has been about keeping you.”

Kaya Porter, 21, is house-sitting for her celebrity best friend. Alejandro Cruz, 27, just built the house next door. When a “rescue mission” sends Kaya over the property line, she literally falls into Alejandro’s arms.

On the plus side, Alejandro is always focused on Kaya. On the downside, there’s insta-love from Alejandro right off the bat. To compensate the insta-love, the novel does depict the pair getting to know each other. In fact, the romance is rather slow burn.

“'Belleza, don’t do that unless you want me to slide my zipper down and free my cock so that I can push your panties to the side and take you the way I’ve been dying to.’”

Told via Alejandro and Kaya’s alternating first person POV, the tale is mostly low angst with the exception of a brief but ridiculous OW misunderstanding.

Alejandro was a pretty solid, sweet guy. Kaya was okay. She wasn’t a heroine necessarily easy to warm to, and her background story was a little too drama-filled for my tastes. Elvis was probably the cutest parts of the book. He honestly kept me engaged, and I enjoyed their meetings via him the most.

I felt the story had a few hiccups. There’s the occasional Spanish words and dialogue that’s not translated. I understand the Kaya didn’t speak Spanish but, none the less, it was frustrating as a reader. Also there’s a scene in the beginning with Kaya talking to her godparents except their identity isn’t introduced. It was confusing with no compelling reason to keep their relation a mystery.

The next book will feature one of Alejandro’s brothers, and I can probably guess who his heroine will be.

Am I the only one who wants a pet peacock now?

3.5 stars

This was really a really cute story. Short and sweet and definitely hit the spot. I hadn't read book one but I didn't feel like I missed too much .

-no cheating
-no om drama
-ow drama - crazy stalker that he had went on one date with. He had zero feelings for her
-no pushing away
-no violence
-some steam late in the second half of the book
-book 3 is about Rafe - hoping minimal pushing away and that it's safe
-zero epilogue which was one of the factors of the lower rating-

Romantic, light, fun, and quick!

If you're looking for a sweet falling in love contemporary romance then look no further! I Want is it. Reading how Kaya and Alejandro fell in love is the perfect light read. Both characters have a bit of a past that they'd rather forget, but that has also shaped who the are now. There is just enough angst in this one to keep it interesting, but not so much that it takes away from the light feel good vibe you get from this falling in love story. It's even a bit funny. CUgt myself chuckling at a few of the parts and antics of one of the unique side characters.

Sidenote - I'm so excited to read the next book in this series.

Oh my gosh! This book was recommended to me and I am so freaking glad I read it!

This is definitely a dating and falling in love story which are really, kind of hard to come by considering all the romance books out there. This also has one addition that added a wonderful dash of humor to the story but I refuse to spoiler what it is because it is just so much fun. Let’s just say it is highly original.

The beginning started a little rough. The dialogue a bit stilted but either it smoothed out or I became adjusted to it because soon I was completely engulfed in the growing relationship between Kaya and Alejandro. Kaya was fun and feisty, Alejandro determined and possessive. The drama is none existent as this couple spend time together, all the while Alejandro knowing where he plans for this to go and Kaya avoiding that place at all costs…until she can’t avoid it any longer. The angst level was extremely low and even when we do have the final conflict, it was dealt with in an adult manner and over with within a few pages.

I loved both the hero and heroine as well as their friends and siblings, making me antsy to get to their stories. This is a relatively slow burn and the chemistry was a bit questionable until suddenly this couple went up in flames for each other and holy heck, the dirty talking steam level singed my Kindle. Add an epilogue that was surprising, original and absolutely perfect and this is a book I would highly recommend when looking for something low angst, safe in that neither are with anyone else after they meet, and with a hero who is sold on the heroine from the first moment he sees her.

Thank you to my Goodreads friend Janie for recommending this!

A Spanish dream....

Called Alejandro Cruz....

I want...yes that's right I want....him! Spanish are famous for their passion...everything they do they do it....intensely...
The story is SO addictive, it will draw you in, more and more as the pages rolls by.
As much as you will love Alejandro and Kaya's story, I have to worry you about a....third character...is so beautiful and so hilarious. His name is Elvis. But Cupid it also match perfectly. He made me laugh out loud...He makes this romance even more magic....and the epilogue is ....epic!!!!!

DNF Chapter 13

This was boring and predictable. Too sweet and too insta-love. Throw in a pea-cock that plays fetch and understands human language and is a delinquent. Yeah, well.

Then there's the BFF who urges the Heroine to have sex with the sexy Spanish man next door, because at 21 you live the best time of your life (after that it's practically over) and you'll never have the opportunity to sleep with a Spanish man again. Heroine shouldn't be so uptight and clean her cobwebs down there and groom her bush.

So that's where I've had it. It's over. Not reading anymore.

It was most pleasant to read a laundry list of the hero's past sexual partners. There was a woman who bathed her cat with her own tongue and then the women who threw up on his while he was giving her oral and something about a ballerina who left used bandages lying around. It was meant to be cute but I found it nasty.

Quite boring

The story is about the second Cruz brother, Alexandro, and the next door neighbor, Kaya, who is house sitting for her best friend. The story was pretty boring. The only good thing was Kate's friend's pet peacock named Elvis.

I'm fairly new to Ella Fox and I have to say that I'm slowly falling in love with her writing and her books. This is the second installment of the Enamorado series which can be read as a standalone. And after the first book, I was expecting the same hype and same intensity from this one. And while I'm not saying that this book lacked the chemistry and intensity, it sort of fell flat towards the end. There was all this build up with their story, which was amazing and so heart-warming, but I expected more.

However, this is such a funny and feel good novel. The highlight of this whole book is probably Elvis, he made the entire book and I couldn't get enough. These Cruz brothers are something else though and I can't wait to read the rest of their stories!

I love me some Ella Fox books. You are always guaranteed a good story with little drama. She writes a drama free romance with a hot guy that you will fall in love with. So far the brothers have not disappointed. Although, at times I would have loved to have Jandro and Kaya have have the dialogue that Kaya had with Elvis. I loved Elvis it was just at times I felt the story focused on him and not getting to know Alejandro and Kaya.

I love these brothers so far and cant wait to continue to read about them. I have high hopes for Rafe and his poor broken soul. I cant wait to see what Ella brings to the table for him. Although, I didn't feel the connection between these two I just know that I will love everything else Ms. Fox brings in the next book. The one thing I do love about reading Ella's books is that the picture she paints seems to come to life. It's like you are the one in the story taking care of Elvis and chasing him across the yard.

I really loved this one!

The tone was a little different, it was lighter then Mateo and Ava’s story. The matchmaking Peacock was so freaking awesome. Especially the Peacock buffet. Seriously just read it it’s Ella Fox nothing you won’t love about it!

Oh Elvis! You have to read this book to learn about Elvis, I won’t give it away but I was totally shocked when I found who he is with a great character and personality. Kaya is a professional house sitter and is staying at her best friend Emery’s place in Malibu while she is filming a movie. There are new neighbors next door and one morning, Elvis ends up in their yard and while Kaya tries to rescue him, she lands in the very capable arms of Alejandro. Alejandro is captivated by Kaya and knows she is his “one.” Kaya has sworn off relationships. What follows is a perfect courtship as Alejandro works to get behind Kaya’s walls to find something wonderful. I didn’t want to put this book down, number 1, I never knew what Elvis would do next and number 2, well, Alejandro and Kaya are pretty spectacular together. I am loving this series about the Cruz brothers! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

This book was really cute!! I loved both the characters! The only thing I wish for was a different epilogue! The epilogue we got was so cute and I loved it, but I wish we had another one actually about the H and h of this book. Not one setting up for the next book.
Overall though I loved this book!

This story was fine…but felt a little bit incomplete, and I didn't know how to feel about the epilogue. Still prefer I Don't (Enamorado, #1).

※Note:
If you got the unfinished feeling as me after read this book, suggest you to read I Need (Enamorado #3). That story complete this series.

I have been reading Ella Fox's books ever since I was introduced to The Hart Family a while ago. I quickly adored her books and I have been a fan. Now she brings an even hotter and sexier family of brothers, The Cruz Family. Five insanely gorgeous and swoon worthy alpha males that have made me drool and sigh dreamily. First, it was I Don't that made me giggle and fan my face a bunch of times. Now it is I Want that made my head spin and smile. I am telling this made me feel like a school girl crushing over her crush. I was tongue-tied, sweaty and speechless. I freaking loved reading I Want. It intoxicated my senses. It engaged me. It captured me. It made me so darn happy that I could not stop smiling at all. I Want was beyond my favourite book in the Enamarado series.

I Want truly gave me the warmest surges straight to my soul. This book was just freaking sweet and deliciously wicked to my heart in the best way. It had everything. It had sexy characters, laugh out loud moments, drop dead gorgeous scenes that made me melt from the inside out and a storyline that consumed me. I devoured this book like crazy. I sat there and my whole being was drawn in. Bright. Charming. Smoking hot. Entrancing. I Want was a magnificent romance that swept me way and caught my attention. It was a romance that made my head spin. It was a romance that reminded me of soft breezes and sweet candy. Indulgent, sinful and mouthwatering. I am a cynic when it comes to love but I Want held something special love and friendship that was beautiful and true. Ella Fox gave me a light romance that made my soul quicken. I loved that. I enjoyed that.

I Want introduced to Alejandro and Kaya were a phenomenal with easy going and electrifying chemistry. I freaking grinned when I was reading their POVs. I loved them together. Kaya was sweet, independent, fun and spunky. I loved her carefree personality. It just brought a smile to my face. Alejandro made me swoon so hard. I want my own Cruz brother. He made me fan myself and drool. I want my own Spanish love like Alejandro to sweep me off my feet.

I Want was totally my favourite book from Ella Fox. You definitely read it.

After reading I don't I could not wait to get my hands on another Cruz brothers story and was not surprised at how much I enjoyed I want I'll highly suggest that you read the first Enamorado book in the series before because alot of the evens that took place are mentioned in this and you will better understand / adore the story and characters . Alejandro and Kaya made an excellent couple with the way they meet is such a meet cute so loved it and once they get to know one another there is no turning back they have alot in common with their hilarious banter , love for food , intense attraction and bad luck in the relationship department they try to mend each other hearts and just make the other happy . Poor Alejandro I felt so bad for him when we find out every bad date / girlfriend were like and when the author does a little seinfeld through back day totally made and he is such a dirty talker don't get me started when he talks in Spanish me in a puddle of goo . Kaya is such a great heroine when we found out about her past it was just so sad plus she has such an incredible talent I would so watch her youtube channel . You will find a matchmaking peacock , couple who are crazy about one another ,a sad brother , a delusional stalker , and leave you wanting more especially with the epilogue can't wait to read the next one .

There is a reason Ella Fox continues to be one of my all-time favorite authors, and every single amazing word of I Want proved that over and over again. Every book she writes, every story she gives me, and all of the amazing and dynamic characters she creates continue to deliver unforgettable reading experiences that I can't get enough of! I look forward to reading her books so much, and I can't say enough how much I have been excited to get more of this series. I LOVE this series. So much. I love the way its characters love, I love the way the feels and the romance and so much heart are bursting from this series' pages, and I love how good it feels to read this series.

Ella Fox delivers it all in I Want. A fulfilling love story that melted my heart into a puddle of the best emotion. A story that made me believe in the power of falling in love. A story that allowed me to fall right along with these characters. A story that felt good, felt right, and felt special to experience. Every word of this book, every turn of the page, and every moment I got to experience with Alejandro and Kaya seared my heart to theirs, invested me in their journey of love, and had me falling right along with them. Told through Ella Fox's exceptional writing, I Want is a story that will give you heart the best level of feels, will have you knowing the power and amazingness of finding that one person who just fits, and that will have you rooting like crazy for everything that Alejandro and Kaya share.

I Want is the second book in the Enamorado Series, which is quickly becoming my most anticipated and loved series. I love this series. I love the family of characters it brings to life. I love how good it feels to read, and I love how each book in it wraps you up in a love story that is unique, gratifying, meaningful, sweet, romantic, and the perfect blend of fantasy and reality. Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading them all because they're all so so good! And trust me, once you meet the characters of this series, you will want more of them and you will never want to let them go. Trust me, that's exactly how I feel as I sit here writing this review, and I for one can't wait to get my hands on the next book as this series continues.

The start of this book finds Alejandro and Kaya both done with relationships. He's had the worst kind of luck with women and she's vowed to not get serious until she's 25. They both know what they want and they're sticking to their guns because love isn't for them right now...that is until they meet one another and find themselves coming up with more and more excuses to see one another. The spark seriously flies between these two, and soon they both find themselves spending more time together than they are apart. I Want follows Alejandro and Kaya as they fall, as they see what could be, and as they see what might happen if they embrace the world of feeling they begin to share. What starts off as a crazy spark soon becomes so much more in this book, and I can't say enough how phenomenal that was to experience.

What I loved about this story was that it was about falling in love. It was about trusting your heart and your feelings. It was about taking that chance when it really matters for the one who really matters. It was about falling hard and fast and so deeply. It was about embracing people into your life and your heart, and it was about giving love a chance. It was about meeting the right person at the right time, and it was about giving it all you've got to keep that person close. This book is about love and family and trust and heart, and it blew me away.

I Want had the perfect blend of feels and emotion, heat and romance, and two characters my heart instantly went to. This book made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me blush and melt again and again, and it just reaffirmed my belief in love and connection. It was that good. It was that amazing. And it was that enjoyable to read. The magic and love and connection you start to experience between Alejandro and Kaya will give you it all, and will have you believing in them, what they share, and every bit of this story.

Ella Fox once again pulled my heart in again and again to both of these characters and their own journeys in this book. I loved them both to pieces, and I loved how their distinctive personalities shined through every page. I loved how Alejandro was so determined to win over Kaya, and how he just knew she was someone he needed in his life. I loved how he was genuine, sweet, and a man with a heart of gold that won me over from page one. I loved how he loved, how he fell, and how he wasn't afraid to admit it all when it really mattered. I loved him, plain and simple, and I am telling you, every word out of his mouth will melt you a million times over. Especially when he speaks Spanish. That was the best, he was the best, and I just loved him.

Kaya was a female character I could so relate to. I loved how real she was, I loved how she just owned who she was and what she loved to do, and I loved how she was a sweet girl that my heart just went to from the start. I really connected to Kaya's character and everything I got with her, and I especially loved being there every step of the way as she started to feel what she did for Alejandro. Kaya was such a real, endearing, and kind character that I loved from start to finish, and getting to be with her as I read this book made me love everything I was reading even more.

Not to be outdone, Elvis stole the show in the best way in I Want. I won't tell you who he is or his part of the story, but let me tell you, you will LOVE him. I know I did. He had me laughing my butt off, loving every moment with him, and loving how he played into the story. He along with the rest of the supporting cast in this book had me knowing again and again why this series is so good, and why it continues to be one I want more of.

When I reached the end of I Want I did so with a heart bursting for these characters and everything they shared. This book made me feel good, it gave me everything I needed, and I loved every word of the love story between Alejandro and Kaya. I can't wait for more of this series to fall in love with!!! I am telling you if you give this book a chance, you will not regret it! This book is all kinds of phenomenal, it's well written, the characters are great, the feels and love are there, and in the end it will just have you loving every moment you got within its pages!!

I Want was the perfect fulfilling and enjoyable read, and it is a book you need in your life this very moment! Trust me.

If getting pregnant with a mere look were a thing, the Cruz brothers would’ve left a trail of knocked up, swooning women in their wake.

3.5+ RATING - This was a nice follow up to the first book in the Enamorado series (both featuring different brothers) and I enjoyed it. I wasn't expecting it to be as funny as it was. Definitely a more lighthearted read then the first book in the series. A little fluffy but it worked for me. The steamy bits were HOT and well done. I love finding an author that doesn't skimp on the heat but still keeps everything really sexy and not overdone. That's sometimes hard to find but the author does a great job with it. The overall writing was very readable too. I love a hero that will go all out to win his lady and this one definitely did. All in all, this was a cute read in a series that I'm looking forward to reading more of. I'm only disappointed that there's not more books already released.

I Want is so sexy and ooey gooey sweet. Alejandro is the 2nd Cruz brother to find love and the object of his affection is just as sweet and adorable as he is. Kaya is house sitting for Emery, Alejandro and Rafe's next door neighbor. When Elvis, Emery's gorgeous peacock, flies over the gate that separates the two homes, Kaya tries to go to the rescue. But when a cop seems intent on stopping her, it's Alejandro who comes to the rescue when Kaya falls off the gate. Once Alejandro lays eyes on her, all bets are off and he starts planning on how to get her in his life.

What I love so much about I Want is that there's little angst, unlike in I Don't, which is much more angsty, as befitting the two MCs, Mateo and Avelina, who are more high maintenance type of people than either Alejandro or Kaya. Here in I Want, there's mostly just sweet (and sexy) and Alejandro trying to figure out how to get Kaya to fall in love with him the way he's in love with her.

And then there's that sweet epilogue setting up Rafe's book, I can't wait! Rafe so far has been the most brooding, mysterious of the brothers and it will be entertaining to see him fall in love (with Emery, I hope!)

A nice light read.

Kaya Porter is 21 and house-sitting for her celebrity best-friend. Wealthy Alejandro Cruz, 27, lives next door. A 'rescue mission' sends Kaya over the property line and literally into Alejandro’s arms - cue insta-love and insta-lust. Alejandro is sharply focused on Kayla from the get go.

Dual POV, the tale is mostly low angst with the exception of a brief somewhat silly OW drama/misunderstanding.
