I'm not the kind of man who would normally even consider blurring the lines between landlord and tenant or boss and employee, but Summer is a walking temptation. Neurotic and obsessive when it comes to work details, sure, but a damn cute temptation nevertheless.
She's been a good tenant and an even better worker. Plus, she doesn't simper or throw herself at me like a lot of women who find out my net worth. I've grown...fond of her, oddly enough.
But if she drags me out of bed in the middle of the night to talk about work one more time...

The man's a saint.
Not only did Jason hire me for the greatest project I've ever run point on, but he also let me move into an amazing loft in his building as an extravagant job-relocation perk. Sure, he can be a grouch when I accidentally wake him up to go over the project, but he's still a saint nevertheless.
He's been a fantastic boss and a surprisingly protective landlord. But...when did his shoulders get so wide? And why is that growling voice of his making me all weak in the knees lately?
Also, is it still considered morning wood if it happens in the middle of the night...or something more?

The SEXY ASS LOVE Series - Book 1: Bare Ass in Love (Jason & Summer) - Book 2: Hard Ass in Love (Logan & Nicole) - Book 3: Gruff Ass in Love (Cade & Katelyn)
***Previously titled Show Me Yours – same fun story, just with a fresh title/cover makeover***
Sasha Burke has been reading romances ever since she discovered her local library would let her borrow whatever kind of books she wanted…probably far younger than she should’ve started. Possessive and protective alpha heroes have long been Sasha’s biggest weakness. Reading and writing about them, especially when there’s a feisty heroine involved, has resulted in her staying up many a night over the years. When she's not playing with all the words, you’ll usually find Sasha out and about spoiling her many dogs or hosting outdoor fajita nights for her friends as often as she can.
This is the first book in the Hard, Fast & Forever series by Sasha Burke. Sasha is a new to me author and I have to say that I’m just in love with this little book. It was sexy as heck, sweet, fun, and the hero was my favorite kind of hero, all alpha, over the top for the woman he craves, and just so swoony.
Jason Steele is owner and CEO of Steele Developments International. He works hard and has earned himself billions but he never lets up. He doesn’t let anything distract him, except perhaps his new project manager, Summer. At the very least, he hasn’t been getting much sleep lately because Summer keeps waking him up in the middle of the night to discuss the job! He has plenty of other things he’d love to discuss with her, things he dreams about doing. She is quirky and sweet and crazy and she fills his every waking and sleeping dream with fantasies. But she’s not only his employee, but his tenant as well so that means hands off. Right?
Summer Davis’s grandfather taught her everything she knows about the world of construction. Getting this job working for Jason Steele is like a miracle. She is determined to do everything perfectly. Summer is an insomniac and thinks nothing about waking up Jason at 3 AM to discuss whatever work issue is on her mind. She also doesn’t mind seeing Jason in those sweat pants he frequently wears when she shows up at his door.
These two fight off their attraction to each other for as long as they can until they finally give in. Jason is growly and sexy and his inner thoughts were so much fun. He loved all of Summer’s crazy quirks. She’s a fantastic project manager. Can he risk losing her by giving in to his feelings? Does he really even have a choice?
This really was so much fun. Jason was so much fun. Summer is sweet and naïve but also tough and determined to do a good job. Together they were just perfect. I’m so glad I decided to give this author a try and can’t wait to continue the series with book two, which is Jason’s friend, Logan’s book!
Summer is just SO innocent that she WHOOPS forgets to put pants on and goes running around her apartment building and knocking on her boss's door at two in the morning.
Seriously? I actually laughed out loud when I read that. It was within the first few pages too, but I kept on going.
Honestly, Summer is so naive. HOW did this woman grow up in a male dominated field, pushing her way top the top, through CONSTRUCTION workers no less, and come out that stupid and innocent?
She was blushing and her cheeks were "heating up" on every other fucking page.
And Jason just thought she was so "adorable", "cute", "sweet", and whatever else, every freaking time. He kept calling her "sweetie", "honey", "sweetheart", at every turn.
Barf.
Don't get me started on all the "mind blowing", "earth shattering", orgasmic orgasms she was having every two pages. How is that believable? A virgin is supposed to be getting off six times right before she even has sex for the first time?
And if I have to read the word 'folks' one more time, Imma scream. Both characters use it interchangeably. What 30-year-old's use the word 'folks'? How old is this author?
Her "past" was down right laughable. It wasn't even HER past. I did not understand why she was so worried that Jason would leave her. But then Jason's reaction was even more ridiculous. I actually laughed for a couple of minutes when I read it.
Of course, Jason is a billionaire philanthropist. Both of them were just adorable little giving charitable matches made in philanthropy heaven.
Gag me.
Aside from that, I obviously enjoyed it enough to finish it. If not only for the laughs. Apart from her ridiculous amounts of orgasms, the virginity taking scene was actually more believable than other scenes I've read. The story was cute over all, if you can look beyond the silliness of it.
That being said, there were some aspects that I found unrealistic and/or that had me sighing out loud and shaking my head with the silliness.
Thankfully, the things that I enjoyed about this tale helped me to get past some of that.
For the most part, I found Jason and Summer's interactions rather sweet and funny, and I wasn't taking the whole thing too seriously.
The best way to describe this book is that it feels like a cute, comedic romance that shifts back and forth into pornville territory re: language and descriptions.
So, if you're planning on reading this, just know that, for lack of a better way to describe it, it's kind of got a dual genre personality.
I had fun with it overall, even if I did find it a bit much at times.
I did enjoy this short and sweet story. It was a billionaire boss/employee storyline which I like. -no cheating -no ow/om drama whatsoever - no mention of the hero's past -a little to much dancing around each other for my liking (over 50%) -a few steamy scenes -lackluster epilogue that was only a few months out, so just a HFN ending -a mention of a couple characters that may be future heroes?? The one I'm worried about is a single dad who lost his wife (high school sweetheart) I probably will shy away from that (if it happens) since dead spouses don't work for me
This was quickly shaping up to be at least a 4-4.5 stars read for me, but two mental sentences ruined it, and both were in the same intimate scene. While I know the heroine being a virgin was an integral part of the story, and I understand why that had to be the case, we did not need to be reminded the Hero was not. Two lines, two unnecessary - or could've been written differently lines. Nutshelling here - One thinking how she gave him the best hand job he'd ever had and the other stating the same regarding a blowjob. Why? Why have him even think either of these? He's can mentally think how great what she's doing feels without comparing to previous ones NOT GIVEN BY HER!!! Ugh.
All the rage in the tropes right now is grumpy boss/quirky sunshine. If you are looking for this trope, stop and one-click this book!
Things I loved: - Jason is yummy alpha possessive -check - Instalove - check - Dirty talking - check - Summer is cute but not clueless - smart in their own way check - Humor but not exhausting - check
Things to consider: - set time aside to devour - be prepared to grin your face off
This story was everything my hearts & flowers, non angsty unicorn reader heart needed. Pacing was stellar. Comedic scenes funny, not wearisome. Oh and when they finally commit, it combustible, panty melting.
No way this woman is 30 (and a virgin, btw). The way she behaves and talks, her impossible naïveté when she has spent so much time working with blokes on a construction site? Just doesn't make sense. So: she can build a whole house from the ground up, still lusts madly after the hero and is a tomboy virgin. Eek. Then we have dirty talk and, my pet hate, the word "cum for ejaculate/semen. He commands "come" and she does. Like a good dog. Ah- no. If you like a rough and tumble sex romp, this one's for you. No OW, no real angst, just lots of sex on/near a construction site :)
I really did enjoy this, I just didn't feel the OTT insta-lust/love in the beginning like the rest of the book made it seem like it was. It was a little disproportionate. It would have been a full 4 stars if it had that element in the first few chapters.
I absolutely loved Show Me Yours by Sasha Burke. It was a quick, fun, and so very sexy read that had me laughing out loud. Usually quick reads do not give you a lot of character background, however, I loved this story and the characters and really felt a connection to them.
Jason hired Summer to lead a major construction project because he believed in her abilities. She was strong, dependable, and very knowledgeable, but she was also petite, beautiful and quite the temptress, without even realizing it. But as a rule, he was not the type of man to mix business with pleasure and as her boss and landlord, she was definitely off limits.
Summer knows she is different than most women. She is neurotic, obsessive and always on top of all details. A workaholic at heart that has trouble sleeping. She admires Jason and how much he has accomplished. Yes, she can be a bit much waking him up at all hours to talk business, but she is doing her job and wants to do it right. No harm in that, right?
Though he is trying to avoid it, Summer is slowly growing on him in ways that she should not. He begins to be protective of her. Summer knows nothing about men, as they find her weird and not worth the effort, but Jason has never made her feel anything but capable. But things begin to change between them and soon they find themselves wanting more.
This book was so much fun to read. It was sexy and steamy. I loved the characters, their banter and the story. Jason and Summer had so much chemistry, it dripped off the pages. I am excited to see what else Sasha Burke gives us.
4.5 stars! Read and reviewed for Sultry Sirens Book Blog.
I liked the lack of drama in this one and usually I like drama. The characters were both more on the mature side compared to a lot of romance novels, which sometimes drives me nuts. It was also short and sweet which makes for a nice easy fast read. One thing that got me was the whole virgin thing at what was she 30? That seems a little farfetch'd in my opinion. Summer and Jason were both likable enough characters even if Summer seemed a tad crazy sometimes. Their story was easy to read and kept me entertained. Not a great book but not horrible.
What a fun, fun romance! And, what a very nice surprise. The author created a charmingly nerdy heroine who is a bit socially clueless, but she is not TSTL. She is actually very likeable and capable. The hero is gruff but loveable. The dialogue is delightful, and I was utterly charmed by this whole story.
On the short side, but really enjoyed it. Steamy and low-angst, but with enough substance it isn't just smut! I'll definitely be looking into more from this author.
First off I will say that the title of this book on my kindle/Amazon is 'Bare Ass in Love' which was free at the time of purchase, I say this because I probably wouldn't have downloaded it if 'Hot Billionaire Landlord' was in the title... then again, maybe I'll put 'Bare Ass' on my not-to-read list as well
So... onto the review...
I've read my fair share of smut and some of it has been good... unfortunately this one is what I class as an eye roller Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed what story there was, but it was more like the acting part in a classy porn film in all honesty (don't judge me, you know you've all watched it at least once), and if I read the words cock, pussy, wet, come and fucking beautiful all in the same sentence again I may just do myself some eye damage... thankfully it was very short and only took me a few hours to read
So, apart from the above, what exactly made me roll my eyes? well, I'm glad you asked: - a 30 year old woman who still has her virginity in tact - check - a girl who is 'one of the guys' and doesn't realise how beautiful she is - check - an overprotective caveman/alpha male lead - check - a single handsome billionaire who has 'never felt like this before' - check - the description of said billionaire's appendage - actually, this one made me laugh!
I'm not sure what I was expecting, the above may not have been so bad if it hadn't just turned into a porn fest, but it had no finesse, no subtlety... Summer's story was alright, but we got no background from Jason, so it felt like a feeble attempt... I don't think I'll be moving on to the next in the series

Show Me Yours is Sasha Burke's debut book! And i LOVED it!! It was a quick, sexy, fun read. So many laugh at loud moments! Another thing I LOVED is that usually with such short, quick books, you don't get all the depth of the characters, However that's not true with Show Me Yours. I felt the author gave us FANTASTIC insight to all the characters.
I LOVED the story of Jason and Summer. Their chemistry is HOT! And the sexual tension, SCORCHING!!
I LOVED Summer's character. She's, sexy, funny, quirky, obsessive, and neurotic. And I really enjoyed her waking her boss at 3 am!
Jason, oh my! How about a sexy, hot, single, alpha male, billionaire? HELL TO THE YES!! I LOVED his character so much! He's got such a huge, protective heart!
This book was so much fun. It's a quick sexy and steamy read. I am so excited to see what else Sasha Burke gives us next.
*I voluntarily read an ARC from the author, this is my honest review.*
I am new to Sasha's writing … immediately pulled into this book, quick read. insomniac Summer, makes me laugh …I can not imagine. I need my sleep, or I am kind of meanie … very short after no sleep the hubby knows that. let the woman sleep. duh! many moments are pure laughter. I will be checking more out from Sasha soon enough. Love cover make me smile, or at least giggle. Check it out! Almost forgot I did find it on AMAZON for free ... go check to see if it still FREE, always a great way to try new authors to you. FUN summer times! ( ;
a great quick read. Loved the laid back vibe. loved Summer, she's a hard worker, yeah maybe a little much but it's her character, just like Jason he's strong hard working, but both are fighting a temptation they aren't sure they should act on. Loved this story and the characters, looking forward to the next one.
I've been on a dry spell with romcoms lately and while this one isn't necessarily listed as that, my dry spell is broken. There were so many laugh out loud moments in Show Me Yours. Jason and Summer's inner dialogue is as hilarious and witty as their conversations. This couple has such great chemistry and when things heat up between this pair, it is scorching hot. This debut by Sasha Burke is very well-written with a fast pace and great flow. It's sweet, sexy, funny, romantic, low on angst, and just an all around entertaining read. If this is any indication of what this author has in store, I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
It was a short, spicy book. The plot was … trying to be there but it was more about body contact than anything else. Nothing epic but not unenjoyable. Both MC’s literally had no flaws. None. Even Summer’s supposed “imperfections and weirdness” only added to her being flawless. But oh well, let’s see what happens in the next book.
Very nice! This was my first book by this author but I'm very impressed and can't wait to read more. I admit I was a little apprehensive when the description mentioned "insta-love" which I don't have a problem with at all but have not had a good experience with lately. Sometimes you just want a quick read but often a quick read can also mean sexy but not well-written. I didn't have that experience with Show Me Yours. Can't wait to read more by Sasha Burke!
I really enjoyed this book. It was such a sweet, and at times hot romance between the most unlikely of people. I loved that the author gave me something different then just the standard billionaire and virgin romance. There was a decent back story and the characters felt well developed. I was so happy to see them together and get their happy ending.
It's a man's world and Summer is determined to get her piece of the pie. Jason presents the best of both worlds, if she can find the courage to put her heart and career on the line. Burke is great at writing strong heroines. She holds nothing back. From temptation to vulnerability, she puts it all on the line.
I loved reading Bare Ass in Love(Hard, Fast, and Forever Book 1), all about Summer Davis a Construction Manager & Jason Steele the CEO of Steele Developments International. Jason hires Summer because she’s the best person for the job, to manage his new Senior Retirement Community and take it from conception to reality. She’s feisty, neurotic & obsessive just like me, and I love everything about her, but she works for me and I don’t want to blur the lines, but if she wakes me up one more time at 3am I’m going to throttle her! She lives in my building and I gave her a key to my private elevator and her own code because I can’t have security constantly calling about her, so I made it simple, just gave her access! The author wrote a book about a tenacious woman who works in construction and takes nobody’s crap. She gets down in the trenches with her guys to get the job done. Read about Summer & Jason and see how they work together! I loved reading this book and can’t wait to read book 2!!
I enjoyed this very much. I felt in the story experiencing it like I was in their place. summer and Jason were so romantic, hot and sexy and I loved the sex scenes ,hehehe
