**4 Vegas Stars**
Meet Reagan, a hard working nurse, taking off to Vegas with her two besties, ready to have some fun. After some events that got described in Wicked Weekend, the girls are in an exclusive party that gets hosted by a famous actor.
Meet Declan Carter, a famous actor, who was away from the public lights for a while and he's getting ready to get back, so his friends make this party for him, before he starts shooting for his new movie.
Declan meets Reagan and he sees a beautiful, normal woman, not a fake, plastic bibi bo, who approaches him for who he is and to get a taste of his fame. Reagan also swoons around him, since he used to be her celebrity crush for a while now. There's a lot of passion and the weekend is on fire for these two.
If this was a movie, the music would’ve swelled in the background and the camera would’ve panned out on the kissing couple. But this wasn’t a movie. This was his life.
This novella was nice and exactly what I needed at the moment. A light read, full of steamy moments and a hot weekend for a couple who just meets each other. I really liked the fact that Reagan was not your typical 'thin' woman. She was curvy and I liked that he needed a natural woman. I really appreciated that element!
Not that being thin doesn't mean you're natural! That would be ironic coming from me lol. I'm just saying that because we rarely meet these women even in books. They are usually described as flawless. Just like the men. I would love to read about a man, who isn't the usual gorgeous man, we all drool and swoon.
The only thing that ticked me off was the 'love' at the first sight. I mean all they did was have crazy monkey sex in a suite for a whole weekend.

luv the hotness in Vegas
Reagan is spend in the weekend in Vegas with her bff's they have been dyin 4 this weekend 4 ages so when they get invited 2 a exclusive party they can't wait 2 go an the host of the party is the very handsome actor she as alway luvd Delcan Carter she can't believe it when she finally gets 2 meet him but they r both not expecting the spark that goes of once they touch each a simple hand shake an the sparks go flyin
Declan isn't willin 2 share Reagan he wants 2 know more about her an much more once they r 2gether an alone the sexual tension is hot they r dyin 2 touch an do a lot more so after a steamy kiss they need each other badly once the sexy time starts they both can't stop an it's goes on an on but they don't know what's goin 2 happen after the weekend will they get 2 c each other again
I really liked this book until the end it was a good endin I just wanted more from everything happened really quickly I hate that cause it leaves me wantin more an I did want more I luvd both characters they r so good 2gether an I luvd the relationship Reagan as with her friends but it's great how Vegas brings the wild side out of her when Delcan needs 2 calm his wild side so they seem 2 bring out the best in each other I would recommend that u read the the 0.5 book Wicked Weekend first it will just help with the story but this book lost me over the endin it just needed 2 b longer even a chapter would of helped but I m dyin 2 read the other books hope they r just as good or better xxx

4 Short But Hot Stars
Reagan is an ER Nurse in serious need of some Vegas girl time with her besties. Declan (love that name) is a recovering teen actor set to prove he's more than just a tabloid joke. When these two meet at a Las Vegas party, sparks fly and things heat up in a hurry.
A few things worth mentioning before I continue. This is a short as hell novella and therefore I'm judging it as such. Yes, there was a serious case of instalove. Yes, these two hit the sheets quickly and stayed there for most of the story. If those are absolute deal breakers for you then you might want to avoid this one. I thought Karen Erickson did an entertaining job of showing us who these characters were without a whole lot of character development. Personalities and insecurities were brought to the forefront without a lot of unneeded heaviness. Did I mention this is a short ass book?
Reckless Nights is a cute, steamy read just right for those times you need a little somthin' somethin' between the heavier, longer reads. Reagan's friends will be getting their own books and I'm already looking forward to more from this series.

3.5 - "Everyone deserves a second chance." Stars!
Cross a sexy actor with a curvy ER nurse, both of them on a weekend sojourn to Vegas, and you get some hot times, a hot tub and a quick-to-get-to-the point hot storyline.

I have a lot of time for this authors books and novellas and the Vegas Nights novellas are looking to be another set that will be thoroughly enjoyable reads!

Sometimes a simple, straightforward, smutty story is all you need.And that's precisely what this one delivers.
Glammed-up, ordinary gal meets her heartthrob at a fancy Vegas shindig. He says: "Fancy a shag darlin'?"*
She nods enthusiastically.
They spend all night and the next day going at it like rampant bunnies (is there any other kind?). Oh and he buys her posh pants.
*dialogue may have been slightly paraphrased here.
This is a really easy and quick read, with sizzle from the first paragraph. It's part of a series but a complete story in itself. There's no angst or drama, just lots of bump and grind.
I quite like an ordinary gal meets her fantasy man and all her dreams come true story and this is a nice, untaxing example of that. He's a washed-up actor who's just out of rehab and looking for a second chance in a role as a ER doc. She's a real-life ER nurse, so they had plenty to talk about in between all of that bowchickawowow.
If you're looking for gritty, hard-hitting realism then you'll be disappointed, but if you're hoping for a fast and easy to read sizzling smutty tale, this is spot on.

I loved this book. It was a sweet and easy read that made me swoon! If you are looking for a heart melting story that contains some smoking hot sex scenes this is a series that you are going to love.
The story picks up right from the end of the "Wicked Weekend (Vegas Nights #0.5)". (If you haven't read that one, I would definitely recommend doing so!) Reagan, Andrea and Natalie have all arrived at the celebrity party held by the famous actor Declan Carter. All three girls are equally as star struck and excited when they first meet Declan but it's lucky Reagan that gets the guy in this book. Reagan's weekend in Vegas just got a lot more interesting!
Declan was just lovely. Not only was he hot and sexy but he was also a genuinely nice guy and he seemed to be completely taken with Reagan. As soon as her spotted her, he was smitten and didn't waste anytime getting to know her better. The couple were so mad for other that their one night stand turned into a dreamy and romantic weekend together. My heart was all of a flutter reading about it all.
As the weekend came to an end Declan and Reagan were faced with a decision to make. The couple were so right for each other yet they came from two very different worlds. Could their relationship be more than just a sexy weekend romp? Get one clicking so you can read the story to find out. It is well worth the read.

I was under the impression that she was the sensible one of the group, however this girl was determined to be reckless and I couldn't blame her. I would have done the exactly the same thing, given the chance! LOL.

I can't wait!

Talk about your weekend with the girls! What would you do if you were on a trip with your girlfriends and someone offered to have your most desired fantasy come true right before your eyes? Well, when Reagan, Natalie, and Andrea, three nurses in need of a vacation, decided to hit Vegas, it became the getaway to shame all others when a very colorful character offered to whisk them all away for a night on behalf of his employer. Prequel novella Wicked Weekend sets up the story for these three deserving ladies to have the time of their lives, and I was looking forward to seeing it all unfold!
Reckless Nights brings us Reagan’s story; her secret obsession with everything actor Declan Carter had her heart racing when she realized that she’d be meeting him on their night out. This man who she’d lusted after from afar was suddenly right within reach, and he was very much appreciating what Reagan had to offer. Reagan was literally having her wildest dream come true for one night, and suddenly her wild side was ready to play. Declan had hoped for a chance to meet a NORMAL woman, one who he could be real with and not worry about having to impress with his celebrity status. Reagan was just that, and when their banter and flirting turned into some smoking hot chemistry, they were both more than happy to see where things went. It made for some very steamy moments that were definitely yummy to read!
Reagan and Declan hit it off from the start, but whether or not that could ever lead to more was on both of their minds as their time together ticked away. Declan was about to start filming his comeback role, and Reagan had to go back to being the nurse she’d always been. It didn’t exactly make for an easy transition into a relationship, so where did that leave them? Time would tell just what they were meant to be, and it was a sweet story as everything came together for these two well-matched but very different people. Bottom line? Reckless Nights is a quick and steamy read with heart that I enjoyed curling up with!

This three part serial was set up in Wicked Weekend, the short novella that introduces us to the three ladies and sets the stage for each of their lust filled Vegas weekends. Up first is Reagan who is star struck when she meets Declan, the once teen heartthrob turned washed out rehab actor, who is slowly trying to rebuild his career and image.
Once Declan sweeps her off her feet and up to his penthouse suite, these two get lost in between the sheets as the weekend passes them by in a blur. But when it’s time for Reagan to head home and Declan to begin filming again, promises made in the midst of passion might not be kept.
I honestly picked up this series originally after reading that Karen Erickson was a pen name for an author who I adore. So I figured I’d easily enjoy this series and her other works just as much. I was interested in seeing what the difference in styles would be; would one be sexier than the other? Maybe a bit more wild? What I did realize is that although there were some subtle changes, the writing was still very well done.
I loved the concept of this series. A girls weekend away, a once in a life time chance to live the fantasy of meeting a star and not only falling into a lust fueled haze, but finding something so much more in the end.
I did enjoy this quick read and was excited to start the second in the series shortly afterwards. However because it is a short read, there is an instant-love set up and rush to the finish line ending. Although the author took their time where it counted. I loved the moments where it was just the two of them lost in one another and the focus staying right where it needed to be. These moments allowed their connection to be seen and although I didn’t have nearly enough time to fall in love with these characters, I still was thoroughly entertained by the story.

Reckless Nights was such a fun read. It follows the stories of three friends who work way too hard and need a weekend away to just have some fun. The last thing any of them expected was to be invited to a super exclusive party. And for Reagan, it turns out to be the chance of a lifetime......Declan is a famous actor, who is looking for more. After a life filled with women who just want to use him to further his career, he's looking for something, someone real....This weekend that was supposed to be just fun, is suddenly turning into a possibility of more. What will happen once they leave Vegas? Do they stand a chance at something real or does the saying hold true??? Does what happens in Vegas really only stay in Vegas??
Reckless Nights was a quick, enjoyable read and is told from both Declan and Reagan's pov. The characters were fun and easy to relate to. There is a short prequel to this story and is available for FREE, that I do recommend reading first. HOT HOT HOT! I was looking for a short, but sexy read and I got it with Reckless Nights! This novella was about Reagan's night in Vegas with comeback actor Declan Carter. he was looking for someone "real" to have some fun with, but it turned into something more. Neither one of them wanted to the weekend to end. What happens next? Well, Declan needs to focus on his career, but he wants to find a way to keep Reagan in his life. Find out if they're able to make it work!

Karen Erickson is so good at writing novellas. Reckless Nights is one sexy romance about a one night stand in Las Vegas that becomes much more between an an average type of woman (Or so Reagan, the heroine believes herself to be) and a too good to be true prince charming type actor who connect on a deeper level within minutes of meeting at a ritzy party.
Reagan is a nurse who works long hours. She goes to Las Vegas with her two best gal pals for some R&R. They end up at a celebrity party, and that’s where Reagan catches the eye of Declan, an actor who Reagan used to have a big crush on. Declan was once the biggest stars in Hollywood but his partying and drinking got out of control. He went to rehab and is now on the straight and narrow, ready to get back into the spotlight with a new role that could make his career all over again. When he meets Reagan, the sparks fly between them, and then some. Within a few hours these are on their way to falling love, which means insta-love. It seems cliche, but the way Karen writes it, she really makes it believable. Declan is willing to make Reagan’s sexual fantasy a reality, and she goes up to his hotel suite where they have some naked fun together.
The sex scenes simmer and smolder with great sensuality. Karen is a master at writing great love scenes. The one night stand turns into something much more between Reagan and Declan. I wanted Reckless Night to be longer. The conflict here is very minimal other than the issue with Declan’s celebrity status and if Reagan is good enough to be with him because she feels she’s not “Hollywood” in any shape or form.
Reckless Nights was a quick fun time read set in one of my favorite US cities.

Reagan is a nurse who works long hours. She goes to Las Vegas with her two best gal pals for some R&R. They end up at a celebrity party, and that’s where Reagan catches the eye of Declan, an actor who Reagan used to have a big crush on. Declan was once the biggest stars in Hollywood but his partying and drinking got out of control. He went to rehab and is now on the straight and narrow, ready to get back into the spotlight with a new role that could make his career all over again. When he meets Reagan, the sparks fly between them, and then some. Within a few hours these are on their way to falling love, which means insta-love. It seems cliche, but the way Karen writes it, she really makes it believable. Declan is willing to make Reagan’s sexual fantasy a reality, and she goes up to his hotel suite where they have some naked fun together.
The sex scenes simmer and smolder with great sensuality. Karen is a master at writing great love scenes. The one night stand turns into something much more between Reagan and Declan. I wanted Reckless Night to be longer. Sweet story. Not super long. Girl on a Vegas girls' weekend meets the actor she's had a crush on. He is fresh from rehab and has decided to turn his life around, and he's drawn to her because she's not after him to get something out of him (acting jobs, publicity, money, etc.). But it's almost insta-love... it's supposed to be a Vegas fling, but they both end up feeling very strongly for each other. It seems too good to be true, but then everything works out.

In the free prequel novella Wicked Weekend we met Reagan, Natalie and Andrea...three nurses ready to have a good time on their weekend vacation in Vegas. Reagan the sarcastic, realistic one. Natalie the sweet sprite who always sacrifices for others. Andrea the tall, gorgeous perfectionist. They met the mysterious James who became their fashion Fairy Godfather, glamorized them, and got them into an exclusive party for the famous actor he works for.
The story continues in Reckless Nights with Reagan's story. Reagan is smart, funny, but skeptical and untrusting. But when she found out that James worked for actor Declan Carter, she was the first one to agree to go to his party. She had a crush on him before he fell out of the limelight.
Sparks fly as soon as Reagan and Declan are introduced. Declan is charismatic, charming, and sexy. He is also recovering from dependence and a bad press. But he is trying to move on and be more serious about his work and life. He is tired of the typical Hollywood pitfalls and plastic women.
One hot, amazing weekend with an intense connection overwhelms them. He is in need of a second chance at life and she believes he deserves it. But will he blow this chance? He has a career changing movie to shoot and focus on, and she has her own work and life. She is is just a regular night shift ER nurse and he is about to be back in the Hollywood spotlight. Will it just be an extended one night stand or can they mesh their busy schedules to make it work?
This was short, sweet, and passionate. It was told in both Reagan and Declan's points of view. The characters were developed fairly well between this one and Wicked Weekend, but the plot was a bit thin and fast paced. But it was an enjoyable quickie read when you want something fast, fun, with likable characters. Her friends Natalie and Andrea also met men that weekend and their stories were alluded to, but the full versions will come in the next two books in the series ENDLESS NIGHTS and WILD NIGHTS.

When Reagan gets the first touch from her Hollywood crush from long ago she was surprised by his reaction. He was either speechless, awkward or both. She has heard stories from his past all over the tabloids but she didn't believe that was the man he was today. He was changed. He wanted normal and he could tell Reagan was just that.
Once they started talking she was nervous how the night was going but also very excited. She wanted him and once she knew he wanted her, she knew it would be a wild night. She hoped it would be. It would only be a one-night stand but she was okay with that at the moment.
Declan and Reagan did have their one hot and wild night. It was so sexy and not like anything either of them have ever experienced. What turns into a weekend of endless orgasms has to come to an end. Declan has to go on set and Reagan has to go back to long hours as an ER nurse. Will this be one weekend of sinful sex between two people that just met or will they see each other again?
I loved this story! It was short, sexy and swoon-worthy. Declan is trying to have a normal life, one that he has never had before. And Reagan is trying to have some fun away from her work and putting them together was perfect. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Reckless Nights picks up back in Declan's hotel where we left off in Wicked Weekend and lets us see what happens after a fun no-strings weekend may actually have more power and depth to it than either participant planned and this is where the story starts to get really good adding substance to the players intricate and complicated lives.
We've established that Reagan and Declan are our passionate and fearless romantic leads for this part so it was with great pleasure we got to see more into the inner musings and lamentations of Declan and how his past has shaped him into the man he is today, a little more mature and hopefully a lot wiser. The chemistry between the dynamic and mismatched nurse and actor is scorching and it all reflects off Karen's sterling ability to write a good build up scene with just a look passing or a brush of clothes on the skin. As with the first instalment Reckless Nights manages to pack a punch with wit, innuendo, emotion and a touch of mystery when it comes to Andrea and Natalie and just what exactly they got up to back in Vegas. Only two books in and I'm very eager for more. A great story to keep you hooked and interested in what's just around the corner.

This book is purely a what-if fantasy, wrapped up in a quick, sexy read. Reagan is an ultra normal woman spending the weekend in Vegas with her friends. Declan is a mega-star whose fame is on the slide, but he’s about to resurrect his career with a new role. Neither of them are looking for anything serious, but Reagan is just what Declan needs before he heads back to work. Likewise he’s just what she needs too.
There’s not a lot of backstory or plot going on here. It really is all about the sex, with a little bit about Declan worrying over his previous reputation. It’s short, it’s hot, it doesn’t tax the brain in any way and it’s great fun.
There is a short prequel available, which explains why the girls are there and how they end up at the party, but I didn’t know that before I read this. While it probably would have helped set the scene I don’t think I missed out on much. I look forward to the rest of the series, though.

Loved it! This book was a great quick read. It went straight from meeting each other to planning a future. It focused on Reagan and Declan, not much of the other characters that were in Wicked Weekend in this story.

Reagan and Declan are two people who would have normally never met. He's an actor and she's an ER nurse. They get lucky (as seen in the prequel) by meeting James who works for Declan, and he gets all the girls dolled up to go to this party. It's there that this instant connection magnetizes Reagan and Declan together.
Reagan works a lot, and she works hard. She hasn't really had the time to go out and get herself some. On a girls' trip to Vegas, none of them were expecting it would deviate from their plan. Declan is the been-down-the-road-and-out actor trying to build back up his image after rehab. He's well known for hitting-and-quitting-it and since he's quit everything, he wants to change. To settle down a little.

I actually finished Reckless Nights last week, and I have to say that I enjoyed the story. I liked the idea of the Declan falling for Reagan. The more time he spent with her, he wanted to spend more. Reckless Nights is a pretty fast read and it focuses on Reagan and Declan time together. Plus, there time together is pretty hot. Declan even had me melting into a pile of goo.
Overall, I enjoyed the story, but I wished there were a few parts that were a little more drawn out. Other than that, Reckless Nights was a pretty good read that was fast pace. Plus, I want to know what the other girls are up to in their stories. Ugh, I have to wait for Natalie and Andrea to see what happen to them in Vegas. So, if you are looking for a quick read with some wild monkey sex, you might want to check out Reckless Nights.

There is a prequel to this book called Wild Nights. Basically it just sets up this book telling how the girls came to be at the party. Personally I think it should have just been added to the front of this book but it really isn’t necessary. Can a Vegas weekend turn into forever? This book doesn’t pretend to answer that but it does say that it can be a pretty good start. When folks go to Las Vegas it gives them the opportunity to be who they aren’t for a little while. What happens in Vegas… When these three young nurses get invited to a celebrity party it is like a dream come true. Reckless Nights tells the story of Reagan getting to meet her childhood crush former bad boy Declan Carter. He is out of rehab and wants a good girl. Reagan is a good girl who can be very bad. The connection is there but can it last beyond Vegas? This is a check your brain at the door and enjoy the sexy fun kind of read.

I have to admit that pop culture is a huge part of my life. My friends and I talk about celebrities in first-name basis and as if they are neighbors...or something like that. With that said, I am never judging Reagan for deciding to spend a hot weekend with her actor crush. I mean, c'mon! As long as the guy is single and she is single, why the hell not?
I can't decide yet if I would be happier if this book was a tad longer. But I have to say that I enjoyed the sizzle schmizzle. Yeah! *fans self* When the narrative for the sexy parts manage to pull off being hot without a lick of kink, I always want to do a fistpump. Huh, these things are still doable, people! I am just bothered when Declan did not manage to communicate with Reagan for weeks. In this age of technology, any excuse for doing so just doesn't make a bit of sense. Na da!

Reckless Nights...wowza! What an incredibly sexy and fast paced novella this was! One of my favorite scenes in the book was actually the first. Declan's reaction to Reagan when he met her was perfect. The eye contact and his command for her to come with him were so hot! Karen Erickson writes one heck of a love scene and does it with flair. I wish the book was longer, but I look forward to the next one to see where this romance goes!

I really wanted to like this one, because I love my hollywood romances, however this novella felt way too short and under developed. I think had the book been expanded, it would have been fabulous. I just didn't think that we got enough development from either the hero or heroine. Plus, the insta-love didn't sit well with me.
I liked the overall story, and like I said, I think if Erickson would have taken the time to expand this into a longer story, it would have been SO MUCH BETTER.

I was so excited to get find out what happened in Vegas with these two. I feel like this book put every girls fantasy with their favorite actor into words. It's the if I ever met this person this would be the best weekend ever. haha. Great job. Looking forward to hear the other's stories!

Reckless Nights by Karen Erickson is the first book in the Vegas Nights series. It is a sexy short story about a sensual weekend in Vegas. It is the kind of weekend where fantasies come true. It is weekend where memories are made. But does the old saying “What Happens in Vegas, Stays In Vegas” ring true? I think that Reagan and Declan walked away from their wild weekend with more than a pocketful of winnings.
Reagan and her girlfriends head to Vegas for a wild, fun filled weekend. They need a break from their stressful jobs in the ER. They are looking to let their hair down and live in the moment.
Their trip starts out with a hitch. The airlines has lost their luggage. Luckily fate has a way of stepping in. They meet a gentleman that invites them to an exclusive Vegas party and helps them pick out the perfect clothing for the party.
Reagan has the opportunity to meet her favorite movie star, Declan Cater, at the party. There is an instant attraction and chemistry between the two. What starts out as a one night stand turns into a wild weekend.
Can both of them leave their weekend behind in Vegas or is this the beginning of something wilder than a Vegas fling?
Reckless Nights is a story story that is novella length. I would of liked for this story to have been longer. I felt that the character development skimmed the surface and we didn’t really get to know who they really were. The chemistry and bedroom scenes were sizzling hot. That was the main focus of the story. I would of liked to see these two lovers develop more of a relationship outside of the bedroom. The story was too short to develop the intimate connections of the heart and mind.
Reckless Nights was a sexy fast paced story. There were enough teasers about the other characters in the series to keep the reader interested in the series.
Karen Erickson is a talented writer. Whether she is writing contemporary romance or in the New Adult genre (aka Monica Murphy), her books are sexy, romantic, and entertaining. Her characters and their stories come to life. Their stories capture the readers attention and keep them entwined in their books until the very last page. She is one of my favorite authors and never disappoints.

When a book promises a night of wild monkey sex, it of course becomes a must read for me. Reckless Nights promised that, and I’m happy to say it delivered.
Declan is famous, and because of that he is constantly getting attention of people – and women—who have nefarious purposes. He just wants to meet a nice, normal girl who wants him for him, not for what he can give her with his fame. When he sees Reagan at a club in Vegas, he instinctually feels that she could give him what he wants and he sets about getting it. Reagan knows who Declan is, and of course she’s star struck at meeting him. But they also discover over the course of a weekend that they might be able to give each other more than just a fling and turn what they have into something real. Will they go for it?
This is the kind of book that you set down and read in an afternoon. It’s fun and completely fantastical. I mean, what woman would not want to be romanced and monkey-sexed by a hot celebrity (Chris Helmworth…call me)? I found that even thought this is a short story that the characters were well fleshed out. Declan, especially, seemed like a very realistic character to me and I fell for him a bit too. I liked him and Reagan together. The only down side to short stories like this is that it’s an insta-love kind of connection that goes at warp speed until the book is over. That can be unrealistic, but I find that if I just ignore the part of my brain that craves reality and just get lost in the fantasy, it can work for me.
Overall, this story was told well and piqued my interest. I look forward to reading more in this series. And yay for hot monkey sex! 4 stars.
