    I absolute adored this book. Tess is a young woman who after a bad break up with her French boyfriend moves back to Chicago to open up a gourmet cafe to call her own. Whilst she's there she ends up babysitting her best friends little one for two weeks so that Fiona can finally go on her honeymoon with her husband after 4 years of waiting but Ethan (the husband) doesn't think that Tess can cope on her own after the break up so without telling his wife or Tess he recruits his best friend Nick Carrington to help Tess look after Max, much to the dismay of Tess. The problem is that Tess does not get on with Nick and believes he's a Jerk of a Playboy.

    But Nick comes to prove invaluable and as the two of them grow closer they realise that there is more beneath the surface than enemies, Nick confesses that he's always liked her but did believe her to be stuck-up, but as she was in a relationship he didn't pursue her. But as the passion comes forward, their relationship explodes with hot and sexy rendezvous and stolen moments when Max is asleep.

    But as the story goes Tess is trying to find the perfect building for her cafe and instead gets involved with a notorious slumlord who tries to take her for all she's worth but with Nick's help she finds the perfect place and unbeknownst, that with Nick helping her, they anger Mr Bigalow who goes out for Blood from Tess and Nick's company, destroying deals and lives.

    But all in all this book was very enjoyable with a hot and devilishly sexy jerk and a Young head strong woman who can give as good as she gets, they're perfect for each other.

    The two of them start off as enemies of somewhat, Tess isn't enamoured with Nick since she first met him, so when Tess and Nick are put together to babysit their friends son while they are on holiday.

    Unaware that she's going to be co-babysitting with the man she considers to be a Jerk, but the more time Tess and Nick spend together the more Tess realises she's miss judged Nick.
