Three Years (Gypsy Brothers Book 5) Kindle Edition
Every day for six years, I used to pray that I would find my way back to the boy I loved.
Until finally, one day, I did.
But that’s the funny thing about life. Nothing good ever lasts, not for me, anyway. You think you’re the one with the power, at least I did, but then I got careless. One tiny mistake, and now I am powerless to stop what comes next.
People think money equals power, but all the money in my bank account, the dirty notes laundered clean that my father left for me, are useless.
Money does not equal power. Power is held by the one with the knife in his hand, tracing shallow cuts into your skin.
Power is held by the one who owns you.
I had power once.
Now, I have nothing.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 July 2014Lili Saint Germain is one of my favourite authors and has blown everything out of the water with this book, this is number five in the Gypsy Brothers series and it is the darkest, intensely twisted and certainly most intense of the lot so far. Three years is what I wanted and so much more; family betrayals and secrets revealed, dark and twisted plans set in place, evilness, a delusional Dornan and heart breaking decisions made then changed....
Juliette is now known to all as her real name so the change from Sammi takes a while for the reader to get used to, but there's no point in denying herself to Dornan anymore. She is seriously in trouble as that man is crazy at best then Satan at his worst, and she is wanting the one thing he will never give her.... The end of everything. In this book Dornan takes torture to a whole new level of torment and malevolence. Lili can really get you into the mind of her characters and I felt everything Juliette did during those scenes with Dornan...pain, despair, revenge, anger and acceptance.
Lili takes us on a heart stopping, heart wrenching and breathe taking journey in Three Years, we meet new characters whom I'm thinking are not what they appear to be and those last few chapters are going to change everything for everyone!!
Without giving too much away I'll ask when you want the one thing in life with all you have, can any secret change what your heart really desires?? Lili leaves us with that question. Roll on September as I need to know what happens next now!!!

WARNING!!! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS FROM BOOK 4, I WARN YOU NOW NOT TO READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY READ IT!!
I grabbed this book as soon as I got an email from Lili Saint Germain announcing the books release! Although I couldn't start it straight away as I had another review book on the go. But this morning I had to pick it up, and it was read in one sitting. I just can't get enough of this series!! Which is why I am pretty darn excited about the prequel trilogy 'Cartel' which is being released next year!
Ok, so Four Score ended with Dornan finding out about Juliette, and Three Years picks right up shortly after. I love the darkness of this story. It focuses on Juliette being held captive by Dornan, and pops out some damn good surprises throughout.
Of course there is a lot of darkness, especially in the torture she endures, but it was way more than I expected. Read the book and you'll find out! what I mean!! Old faces appear too. Who you ask? I won't say :)
Ms Saint Germain again manages to pull you in right from the first line of the book, and holds your attention extremely well to the end! I'm so excited for book 6, but it isn't out until September, so time better hurry itself on up!!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 August 2014This book was good but it's seem to go on a bit I hope the next book is th he last book cuz I am ready to come to the end of this story it feels like it is being dragged out a bit now good book but ready for the end xx
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2014I am still feeling the impact of shock and numbness that never left my side as I read Three Years. To say I put off reading this was an understatement because Dornan Ross lived up to those echoed words of making Juliette suffer “so much worse”. Some pages were hard to stomach as Dornan proved again he is one sick f*** holding Juliette prisoner, inflicting excruciating pain as his revengeful mind carved her suffering in the most unimaginable pain you could comprehend by a man so possessively evil. Dornan Ross gloated in his power over Juliette as he took over her body and tried to get inside her mind, relentless in his punishments every time he entered her darkened world and thrived on what he saw as her defeat his win. My heart was in my throat every time Dornan tortured Juliette, wanting the man dead already for his cruel ways and fearing how much of Juliette’s resolve could keep her alive when my own would have long gone. I loved Juliette because her character is one hell of a fighter, surviving alone with no outside help she still gave Dornan what for and welcomed his pain to aid unconsciousness. This book will certainly push your limits and test your faith to keep reading, as Juliette fights to survive with so many adversities thrown her way and the sick twists that you did not see unfolding. I loved my hero’s Jase and Elliot their scenes were explosive. I’m so ready to see where Two Roads takes Juliette, Jase and Elliot!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2014Each book, just gets better and better. Another awesome story.
Juliette/Sammi had her innocence, her father and her mother, stolen from her by Dornan Ross and his seven sons. Her father was the leader of the Gypsy Brothers MC until he was killed by Dornan. Dornan and his seven sons stole her innocence at the age of fifteen, branded her skin and wanted her dead.
She survived thanks to a Elliot. He brought her back to life and cared for her for 6 years.
She is now twenty-one and out for revenge. She hasn't seen Dornan or his seven sons for 6 years and now she is out for blood. The only way for revenge is to put herself back in Dornan and his sons lives. Her road to revenge hits a bump in the road, when she meets up again with Jase the youngest son. She once loved Jase with her heart, she now not sure how she feels.
I would recommend this book and the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars and If you don't like or can't handle the dark side then this book ...
Holy cow! This is what nightmares are made of, and If you don't like or can't handle the dark side then this book is most certainly not for you. I was freaked out, and so angry. I wanted to quite literally jump into my kindle and kill Dornan so very slowly and extremely painfully. But he's like a cat with 9 freaking lives. His demise has to be slow and painful now, I don't think I'd be satisfied if his life ended humanly . That bastard needs to suffer. lol I'm cackling with this thought. I've become insane and I'm afraid I'll be like this for a while, that is until I get my hand on the next instalment. Argh!! Waiting is absolute torture!!
This story was freaking heartbreaking and scary as hell and I wanted more. How is Juliette ever going to forgive Jase and how did he become even sexier? I had absolutely no idea why he had stayed with his sick family for so long after what they did to him and the love of his life and his mother and I was blown away by his reasonings.
A must read!
Lili is a deliciously dark author who's mind takes you to places you don't want to go, but can't seem to get enough of. She's an evil genius. I want more. :)
5 stars isn't nearly enough it's so deserving of more and this series gets better and better. Only two books to go. Argh!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Another slam dunk
Holy crap on a cracker! This is going to be hard to write without colorful language. The last volume was probably the lightest but most emotionally intense and then crashes into this one, Three Years, which is the darkest one so far. Juliette is royally screwed to the nth degree in her current situation. It is hell on earth dragged out into long and painful days and weeks and months. If there was any doubt about Dornan being evil, those doubts should immediately be ceased. Dornan is vile and vicious and despicable. He is enjoying the slow burn of torture that he inflicts on Juliette physically, mentally and anywhere else he can infiltrate. Juliette is breaking but she is also surviving, even if it's only one second at a time. She still has enough sass to insult Dornan and to fight him with her attitude because she's tough like that, but Juliette is terrified on the inside. There's definitely no love or illusion of love between Dornan and Juliette, but for microseconds here and there, Dornan slips a hair of vulnerability fueled by his hatred because he's known Juliette her whole life in a pseudo-fatherly way until that one nightmare event that he unleashed on her and they aren't that different when it comes to revenge eating at their core. And then there's a surprise just waiting and as much as I hated with every fiber in me what Dornan's intent was, I also knew the truth and kept hoping and praying that I was right. Aside from the obvious, I'm still curious about why Dornan cares so much about the money that Juliette's dad hid. Unless it's an ungodly amount or there's something else with it, Dornan won't let this issue go, not to mention he's one tough mofo to kill off, and that really sucks big time into the next century. As for the ending note, well, a new can of worms opened and there won't be any answers until September unfortunately. I don't want to whine, but stringing me along like this makes me feel like a desperate druggie waiting for the next hit. Seriously awesome series, though!

5.0 out of 5 stars I really enjoyed this series
I was unsure of this series when I bought it but I have to say I was surprised at how much I loved it. A really interesting plot and fantastic characters. A dark subject matter but with strong characters to carry it off. Highly recommend this series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Totally hooked on this series!
Wow, just wow! If this book had been a movie or TV show, I would've been watching it from behind a pillow. It got so intense at times, I had to put my iPad down and walk away, but not for long because I HAD to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next. I am so hooked on this series and hate that I now have to wait for the next book...I need to know what's going to happen!! I don't think I've ever been this emotionally invested in a book series. If you haven't started reading Gypsy Brothers yet, what are you waiting for?!
